Alien Airforce is the first and only solo outing by Crispin Gray, former songwriter, guitarist and backing vocalist with London bands Daisy Chainsaw and Queenadreena.  The founder of Daisy Chainsaw, he wrote virtually all of the bands material, including the UK national hit single 'Love Your Money' (also featured in a Beavis & Butthead episode) and the UK indie number one single 'Pink Flower'.  

Both bands toured Europe, USA and Japan extensively - and at various times were signed to A&M, Warners, Rough Trade and One Little Indian (Bjork's label).  They also supported, amongst others, Marilyn Manson, Hole (including TJ's in Newport, Wales, where Kurt Cobain turned up and said he liked 'Love Your Money'), Garbage, Bush, Mudhoney, Oasis, The Cramps, Henry Rollins, Incubus, Killing Joke, The Manic Street Preachers and Foo Fighters.

With a usually heavily distorted guitar setting the tone, Gray's songs swing from pop influenced melodies to more discordant, darker material.  Gray also provided an indispensable role in all his previous bands as a backing vocalist - and, eventually, as lead singer.........
